I just installed a new panasonic microwave for my mother-in-law. This kit seemed a bit expensive when we bought it. But once it arrived the quality of the kit is far far better than most. It's front is solid metal. It is not "metal coated" plastic of junk metal. The bracket kit and ducting for installation are also easy and straightforward. The trim being all solid stainless turned out to be helpful because I scratched it while installing it (entirely my fault). But with a tiny bit of fine steel wool it buffed right out and looked perfect. This is something you couldn't do with a trim kit that is metal foil or vapor applied metal over plastic as you'd rub through it and it would look terrible. Seeing this kit and the microwave, I now understand why the majority of commercial kitchens use Panasonic Microwaves. Very highly recommended.
If you are installing a Panasonic Prestige Conv-Microwave in a cabiet you MUST use this kit. It's NOT just trim but a whole mouning kit with brackets, ducts and deflectors. Without this kit the oven can over-heat when used in a cabinet.
