Ok, so maybe I'm a bit too critical. Many jack-of-all-trade items don't do any one thing really well. That seems to be the case with this oven. But if you are space limited and or need a 2nd oven while your main one is in use, this is the ticket. Remember, it does actually work as advertised. And you may grow to love it after a brief unhappy honeymoon learning how to use it and adapting to it's limitations.

I am very pleased with this microwave. The only complaint I would have is that it is smarter than I am so it is a little intimidating. However, we are starting to get along. I definitely recommend this microwave but would alert you that you have to have a little patience and listen to what the microwave has to say as to settings, etc. It knows better than you do!!! This morning I cooked frozen chicken, minute rice, and popcorn in it. I have also "crisped" up leftover deep fried shrimp. Everything done to perfection. Would definitely recommend this microwave.

So based on good reviews I bought this microwave. It looks attractive in the picture but kind of cheap in real life. There is a large metal back that sticks out inches in the back of the unit making it very difficult to put on an average counter top. Also the backing (which sticks out like the back of an old tv set) makes where ever you place the microwave look out of place. So, I might be able to overlook this if it did a good job of grilling or baking while microwaving. My thought was that I would be able to turn on the microwave and grill or toast at the same time and get a better tasting dish faster. I was wrong. If you want to microwave and grill you only get 30% of the microwave power...and there is no way to change that! So...it is 70% worse than a cheep 900 watt microwave at that setting. So if you want a 300 watt microwave (much weaker than any other microwave on the market) that warms up really really slow then this is your microwave. Or if you want a really slow expensive super large toaster oven you might want this. For me this unit was a big waste of money and worse than the 60 dollar microwave which was half the size but had as many cubic feet inside.

I have never before had a Sharp product that I was not impressed favorably with. This thing has the tinniest cheap feel. It does not set level, and the door often needs an extra push on the upper right corner to shut properly. The microwave is not as fast as the one it replaced and the interior is small. The automatic programming is well thought out, though. It tells you just exactly what to do for things like setting the clock. After about three weeks it just abruptly quit. Not even lighting up. Thankfully I still had the old micro wave out in the garage and I brought it back into the kitchen. My wife and I were glad to see it. It is also a Sharp and is just in a whole different class for quality.

I got this for a present 5 years ago. It's still going strong and I'm still finding out new things I can do with it. I have baked bundt cakes, pies and biscuits. I made small roasts and grilled hamburgers. I defrost, reheat, and cook frozen foods. I love it.

Have enjoyed all the features available. Just wish I didn't have to have the chart and book constantly within reach. Too many functions require the instruction book for settings and times.

Overall, this is an excellent product. I love only have one product than two. I rarely microwave, but find it useful on ocassion. It is a bit larger than I expected (but I.should have measured) but still space.than both a.microwave and connection oven. I like it because I dont have to heat up the whole place. While the cheat.sheet Is helpful its also cumbersome. I like the way my chicken cooks oj it. It stays moist. Other food taste as.good as they got it from the grocery store. Overall an excellent oven. Good job....

We ordered this on reading other reviews. This microwave does a whole chicken using convection in under half the time of an oven. I would order this again, we are very satisfyed with our purachase.
